Aaron graduated from LASALLE College of the Artsʼs BA (Hons) Technical Theatre programme in 2011, and has designed sets and costumes for different theatrical genres, ranging from Chinese opera (Bukit Panjang Hokkien Konghuay Opera Troupe), classical ballet (Singapore Dance Theatre), plays and musicals (LASALLE). His more notable works to date are The Merry Widow (set design: Singapore Lyric Opera, 2014 – in progress), The Wedding Singer (set design: LASALLE College of the Arts, 2014), The Nutcracker (set and costume design: Singapore Dance Theatre, 2011) and Bloodshed in the Imperial Palace (set and lighting design: Bukit Panjang Hokkien Konghuay Opera Troupe, 2009).

While also doing lighting design for smaller productions one a while, and occasionally dabbling with musical compositions, graphic design and playwrighting, he is planning to move one level up: to produce/ direct/ write his own show.
